Make your life complete
For patients who have lost part or all of their arm, modern medicine offers a wide range of prosthetics that help restore lost functions. Prosthetics can be cosmetic, mechanical, bio-mechanical, or active bionic. Modern cosmetic prosthetics not only hide defects but are also designed to resemble the patient’s natural arm in appearance.
Mechanical prosthetics are easy to use and do not require electronics. They help perform basic functions, such as holding and moving objects. This type of prosthetic is reliable and affordable.
Bio-mechanical prosthetics combine mechanical parts with biological control elements, allowing for more natural movements and greater comfort. They respond to muscle contractions, significantly improving control over the prosthetic.
Active bionic prosthetics allow for complex tasks, such as holding and grasping small objects, using a knife, buttoning up, and tying shoelaces. These prosthetics are equipped with modern sensors and actuators, ensuring high precision and functionality.
The Ukrainian Rehabilitation Center for Afghan Veterans is equipped with the most advanced equipment for manufacturing the latest upper limb prosthetics. Here, you can order, purchase, and install any finger, hand, or arm prosthesis. The price of each product is highly individual and depends on the doctor's recommendations, the patient's preferences, and the chosen type of prosthetic.
