Training of Prosthetics Specialists at the Ukrainian Rehabilitation Center for Afghan War Veterans
At the Ukrainian Rehabilitation Center for Afghan War Veterans, the training of prosthetics specialists is conducted using the latest programs focused on modern methods and technologies. We offer training in the following areas: prosthetics for upper and lower limbs, and silicone prosthetics.
Training is conducted on a state-of-the-art material and technical base that meets modern requirements, ensuring effective preparation and practical experience. Since the center's inception, over 90 highly professional specialists have been trained, working in various regions of Ukraine, enhancing the level of prosthetics and rehabilitation at the national level.
Technical Seminars for Advanced Training of Prosthetists
The center also organizes technical seminars for advanced training of prosthetists, involving lecturers from Germany, Ireland, and France. The seminars cover the following topics:
- Manufacturing a lower leg prosthesis with a liner;
- Manufacturing a lower leg prosthesis with the Harmony vacuum system;
- Manufacturing a thigh prosthesis using the SIT-CAST device;
- Manufacturing a thigh prosthesis with a liner;
- Manufacturing a bathing lower leg prosthesis;
- Manufacturing a bathing thigh prosthesis;
- Manufacturing an orthopedic device using unilateral joints;
- Manufacturing an orthopedic device for the whole leg using standard joints.
The topics of the seminars may change depending on the needs of the ordering enterprise, which allows for the most appropriate training for specialists, taking into account their individual needs and requirements.
